HAMILTON, Ga. (AP) - A week after getting national attention for a sign decrying political correctness, a Georgia sheriff is advertising T-shirts reminding people that if you're offended, you can get out.
The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer (http://bit.ly/1XBSdsl ) reports that the T-shirts state: "Warning: Harris County is politically incorrect. We say: Merry Christmas, God Bless America and In God We Trust. We salute our troops and our flag. If this offends you ... Leave!"
Last week, Harris County Sheriff Mike Jolley installed a sign with the same message in front of his department building.
The sheriff's website lists where the T-shirts are available and includes a link to another site for online orders.
Harris County Manager Greg Wood tells The Associated Press that the websites are not part of the county's official site, which is www.harriscountyga.gov
