MOUNTAIN PARK, Ga. (AP) — Police are investigating after the removal of what appeared to be a grenade from a neighborhood in Mountain Park, just northwest of Roswell.

Roswell police and firefighters blocked West Lake Road in Mountain Park Tuesday afternoon after the device was discovered.

The Cobb County bomb squad eventually removed the grenade.

Johnson said police told him the device was not likely live.
