(WTXL) - The gubernatorial race in Georgia is also heating up between Democrat Stacey Abrams and Republican Brian Kemp.
Kemp and Abrams have been going head to head with Kemp recently making allegations against the Georgia Democratic Party that they tried to hack residents registration files, to which the Abrams campaign ruled off as a "desperate" "witch hunt."
If Abrams wins the seat she would make the fist African-American woman to become a governor in the U.S.
"And I want to be the governor who makes certain that we don't just see Atlanta and all the other hub cities, but that we come south and we make certain that this region is as strong and vibrant as this capacity allows it to be," said Abrams.
Abrams is slated to be in Atlanta for her watch party Tuesday night, as for Kemp, he voted alongside his family and said he's excited about election night.
Kemp is expected to be in Athens for his watch party.
