GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Funeral arrangements are announced for a Gadsden County Deputy that died months after a motorcycle crash.
In late May, Deputy Maximilian Sander was riding his motorcycle on North Meridian Road near County Road 155 when a car pulled out in front of him.
Officials say sander was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, leading to a months-long battle with serious injuries.
The sheriff's office says viewing will be at Bevis Funeral Home and Crematory on North Monroe this Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m.
Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church at noon on Friday and honors will be at the Tallahassee National Cemetery at 2 p.m.
All are welcome to join at the Veterans of Foreign War Cemetery at 4 p.m. for refreshments.
