TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Finals week is in full swing in the Capital City.

To help students de-stress from the constant studying, the Florida State University counseling center's reach committee held it's Stress Buster event Monday.

Students enjoyed hot chocolate, puzzles, and prizes to take their mind off exams for a bit.

"During finals week students are very stressed out obviously and they may not be sticking to healthy sleeping, eating, self-management schedules," said Erin Morpeth. "So when we kinda provide opportunities to help students rejuvenate and refresh their minds and their bodies so that they can focus more on finals."

Organizers say, it's important for students to relax to keep from getting too overworked, keeping anxiety at a manageable level.
