FSU Police Trying to Solve Hit-and-Run Cold Case

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)-- Florida State University police and family members of a hit-and-run victim are asking for the public's help for in solving a 2013 case.

It happened at 10:47 p.m. on November 8, 2013 on Spirit Way.

Police say Alison Christie was crossing Spirit Way using a crosswalk with a friend when a four-door car, believed to be a silver or gray Chevrolet with a Florida tag, hit her.

The car was headed west on Spirit Way from the area of Chieftan Way. The impact threw Christie into the curb, leaving her with injuries to her leg. Police say the car left the scene, heading west on Spirit Way toward Stadium Drive.

The driver is believed to be male, and witnesses said there were other passengers in the car. The first three letters of the license plate are possibly "BPK." The vehicle has minor damage to the grille as a result of the collision.

The Christie family is offering a cash reward for information leading to the identification of the person responsible for this crime.
