TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) – Often we cross paths with those who are different from us and Thursday at Florida State University an event was held to bridge that gap.
The longest table at FSU was held on Thursday to bring those from different backgrounds together to talk over a meal. Also to express different ideas and create dynamic conversations that are not usually had.
"Right now its seems like the nation is becoming much and much more polarized so we feel like there is a way to get people even on a more casual level just to sit down and talk to each other and get back down to the why of how we are," said Alyssa Cerchiai.
They longest table is a semesterly tradition on the campus.
