TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Administrators, students, parents, and even national Greek Life officials are meeting with the student affairs vice president at FSU after President Thrasher suspended all Greek Life activities.
The focus of the meetings is to find a solution and change campus culture.
President Thrasher issued the suspension following the death of a pledge and another fraternity member's drug related arrest. The student affairs VP says the discussions have been helpful.
"A lot of the ideas are centered around education, how can we improve our education efforts, how can we reach more members of the community and be more effective in it," said Amy Hecht. "And then accountability, how can students hold each other more accountable, and the University continue to hold them accountable? Those are the big two categories."
The university will not lift the suspension until they have decided specifically how they want to promote a better culture on campus.
