THOMAS CO., GA -- Four Thomasville High School football players are being honored as heroes after saving a young girl's life.
Willie Bradshaw, Tori Sapp, Jonny Young, and Kentarius Franklin witnessed a car accident.
A girl was trapped in her car and the four quickly jumped into action.
They were honored at the school board meeting Monday night.
They said it's something they will never forget.
"I was over by the car and there was a girl under the car so we just went over there and tried to get her out as quick as possible," said Bradshaw.
Each of them was given a certificate.
School board members said these students set a great example for the entire student body.
