Four charged in Live Oak on drug trafficking charges

LIVE OAK, Fla. (WTXL)--Four people are in the Suwannee County Jail, facing drug trafficking charges.

Live Oak police say they stopped a car for speeding in a school zone Thursday morning.

Officers say they smelled marijuana during a search of the Crown Victoria.

Several ounces of cocaine was found, some of it bagged up to sell.

Marijuana packaged up for delivery was discovered in the trunk.

Luis Carlos Alas, Alexis Avila, Guillermo Reyes Aranez, and Christina Ana Mendez are in jail on a $555, 000 bond on possession and trafficking of cocaine with intent to sell.
