FOUND: Two Alzheimer's suffers reported missing in Jackson County for the second time

JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Jackson County Sheriff's Office received notice that Billy Gene King and his wife, Joan Camiella King, were found together uninjured on Thursday, July 13 at approximately 9:45 p.m.

Hernando County confirmed the positive identification of the Kings and their family members are making arrangement for their safe return to Jackson County. 

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office would like to express the appreciation of the community and to Hernando County for locating Mr. and Mrs. King.


Jackson County Sheriff's Office reports that two Alzheimer's suffers were last seen leaving Peoples First Bank in Malone on Thursday, July 13. 

The couple is identified as Billy Gene King and his wife, Joan Camiella King. The pair went to the bank and withdrew an unknown amount of money from their own account and said they were headed to Jacksonville, Fla. 

Their direction of travel is unknown, but are suspected to be traveling in a maroon 2002 KIA 4 door car with Florida Tag GYCF45.

This is the second time the two have disappeared and are suppose to be traveling to Jacksonville. 

No one has heard from Mr. or Mrs. King.
