TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--We hear all about coming home for the holidays.
It's a dominant theme in Christmas carols and holiday movies.
It's a big part of the holiday season, but for some children in the Big Bend, coming home for the holidays could mean something very different, entirely.
Conslyn is the foster child featured Friday in a new series called Fostering Hope.
Everyday this month we here at WTXL are highlighting children in need of forever homes with the help of the Florida Department of Children and Families.
Children of all ages throughout the Big Bend available are for adoption including Conslyn.
Conslyn is 16 years old. She enjoys listening to hip hop and R&B.
One of her goals is to join the navy after high school.
She easily makes friends and enjoys being outside.
Case managers say Conslyn would like a family who would support her individuality.
If you are interested in opening up your home to Conslyn, you can contact Jamie Honerlaw at Children’s Home Society of Florida at 850-509-3369 or email her at Jamie.Honerlaw@chsfl.org.
Throughout the month of December, we will continue to feature children who are looking for adoptive families.
Saturday and Sunday, be sure to tune into ABC 27 News Weekend Edition for more profiles.
