TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)- If you're still figuring out what to eat for dinner, you might consider the Flying Bear restaurant for their Give Back Day Fundraiser.

The Capital City restaurant is giving 50 percent of Thursday's proceeds to the 2018 Police Unity Tour for Team Tallahassee.

Tallahassee police officers will be riding from northern New Jersey to our nation's capital in honor of those who have died in the line of duty. Restaurant managers say this is one way to give back to the community.

"I think its always important if you're apart of the community to help others in the community. This particular time being the police officers and their families," said General Manager of Flying Bear Evan Michal. "So we want to be apart of the community, we want to help the community, we want the community to come out and support us. So in return we feel we need to support the community as well."

The fundraiser ends at 9 p.m. on Thursday. The Police Unity Tour Ride starts May 9 and they will arrive to Washington D.C. on May 12.
