BRADENTON, Fla. - Manatee County Sheriff's detectives are searching for the driver who they say crashed into a deputy's car and then took off.
It happened Sunday in the 1600 block of 1st Avenue West in Bradenton.
Deputies say a white GMC Sierra pick-up truck hit a parked Chevy Impala belonging to a sheriff’s Child Protection investigator. The impact caused it to crash into another parked car.
The sheriff's office vehicle sustained at least $12,000 worth of damage.
