NORTH PORT, Fla. -- Police have released the identities of the two people found dead in a North Port home Wednesday that is believed to have been a murder/suicide.
The incident happened around 9am Wednesday morning in the 2400 block of Florida Terrace. According to the North Port Police Department, a 911 call came reporting a domestic disturbance at that address. Arriving officers discovered a dead female and male.
Thursday, police identified the deceased as 43-year-old Heidi DeCarlo and 53-year-old Bush Bena. Police say that the couple were separated and living apart.
A full investigation is still under way, and more details are to come.
