TALLAHASSE, Fla. (WTXL) - A state senator says there is an organized effort to "tear down" the Senate and make it weak ahead of the 2018 legislative session.
Sen. Jack Latvala made his comments Thursday at the Associated Press Annual Pre-Session Planning Day at the Capitol.
His remarks were in response to reports of a private investigator who had followed Latvala and photographed him kissing a lobbyist Latvala described as a longtime friend.
The Clearwater Republican also criticized House Speaker Richard Corcoran and suggested some House members had resigned because of him.
