TALLAHASSEE (wtxl) - A new employment survey, separate from the one conducted by government agencies, shows Florida is still adding jobs.
Payroll provider, ADP, reported yesterday, the state added 20,050 private sector jobs during the month of October. The survey showed the growth is largely in service jobs.
Florida trailed both California and Texas in the number of private sector jobs created, but the state's total was above other large states.
In September, Florida’s unemployment rate was 6.1%. State officials will announce the new unemployment rate next week.
