TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida Governor Rick Scott is asking in honor of Leon County Sheriff's Office Deputy Christopher Smith, that all U.S. and State of Florida flags be flown at half-staff at the Leon County Courthouse, at Tallahassee's City Hall, at the Leon County Sheriff's Office and at the State Capitol in Tallahassee from sunrise to sunset on Tuesday, November 25, 2014.

In addition, Scott said, "I am deeply saddened by the loss of Deputy Christopher Smith of the Leon County Sheriff's Office.
