TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A crash involving three vehicles on I-10 near exit 203 on Thursday caused injuries, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened about 8 a.m. Thursday near Meridian Road and mile marker 203 and for a while resulted in the shutting down of I-10 eastbound, FHP said.
The driver of a car was taken from the scene in an ambulance, an FHP trooper said.
The crash involved a car, semi-truck and pickup truck.
Troopers said the vehicles semi-truck driver was traveling eastbound on I-10 in the outside lane of travel, the pickup truck was stopped in traffic in the outside lane, and the car was stopped in traffic in the outside lane.
As the semi-truck crested a slight hill on the top of I-10, the driver saw traffic was slowing and stopped and made an evasive maneuver. But the semi-truck jacknifed and the front of it collided with the left side of the pickup truck and then with the rear of the car.
