ATLANTA (AP) - At least one person is dead after a shooting in southwest Atlanta.
Police say a man in his mid-20s was shot in the face inside a store called the West End Food Mart and Grocery near the corner of Lee Street and Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard.
"We're looking through surveillance footage trying to see what it captured, but it appears there were multiple people inside the store at the time," Lt. Charles Hampton, with the Atlanta Police Department, told WSB-TV (http://bit.ly/1A7xThU).
Investigators believe the victim was a customer at the store.
The victim died at Grady Memorial Hospital shortly after he was transported there.
Police are asking anyone with information in this shooting to call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
