FLORIDA (WTXL) - The Florida Department of Transportation is opening up the emergency lanes on I-75 as evacuees flood the roadways.
They say that the emergency shoulder lanes have been opened at I-75 at Wildwood to the Georgia state line.
There is no contraflow or one-way on Florida roads as of Friday afternoon.
FDOT says that though traffic is heavy in some areas, traffic is flowing through this section.
Law enforcement is also warning travelers to be cautious on the road.
