2 drivers ejected from their cars after crash in Jackson Co.

JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol reports on a car crash in Jackson County on Monday, November 6 at 6:30 p.m. 

Reports say two cars collided when Alvah Lawrence Williams crossed the northbound lane of U.S. 231 hitting the right front side of a 2004 Chevy SUV. 

Troopers say Williams' car began to rotate clockwise and the Chevy began to rotate counter clockwise, which caused Williams' to hit the Chevy again. Both drivers were ejected from their cars. 

Both drivers were taken to Southwest Alabama Medical. Williams is in critical condition. The driver of the Chevy is in serious condition. 

The Florida Highway Patrol was assisted on scene by Jackson County Sheriff's Office, Jackson County EMS, Jackson County Fire Rescue, Air Heart helicopter and the Florida Department of Transportation.
