BROOKS COUNTY, Ga.-- A Brooks County man is accused of causing a deadly crash.

Georgia State Patrol troopers say they are charging Erving Rogers of Morven with vehicular homicide and DUI.

Troopers say Rogers was driving a Ford Focus when he slammed into the back of a Pontiac-G6 that was turning left into a driveway on Highway 133 near Cates Road. A truck also hit the Pontiac.

It happened Saturday around 5:30 p.m. One of the car's passengers, 49-year old Raychelle Lajean Gaston of Pensacola, was killed. Eight others were taken to local hospitals for their injuries.
