TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - 10-year-old Tyler Carach has received national attention for his mission to thank law enforcement officers across the country, one donut at a time.

And Thursday, he made his way to the Big Bend.

With his pick-me-up drink, and seeing his heroes, Carach quickly transforms into Donut Boy.

He's been delivering donuts to law enforcement agencies for two years.

Carach has traveled across 34 states and given out more than 65,000 donuts.

But the really cool part about his visits are the chance to have fun with officers.

"It's very encouraging. It's a boost for us. It helps us to remember why we put on this uniform on," said Captain Bryce Google with the Leon County Sheriff's Office.

And to top everything off, Carach isn't doing this for himself.

"They're my best friends and heroes and I want to let them know that people still care," said Carach.

Carach also made sure he stopped to thank the Tallahassee Police Department, as well as deliver some tasty treats.

"Just to see that a young person is very appreciative of what we're doing it makes our job even more special," said TPD Officer Damon Miller.

Carach is so appreciative of law enforcement that he is also raising money for K-9 officer, Bravo, in Minnesota.

"He is the only one K-9 officer and we are raising money to buy him a bullet proof vest," said Carach.

He says one day he'd like to be a K-9 handler.

"So I can protect people and help them and because my family is a really big police supporter family so I just want to be a police officer," said Carach.

But for right now, Carach is touring the country and serving smiles, one donut at a time.
