Donalsonville man among three killed in fiery, head-on crash

CALHOUN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A Donalsonville, Ga., man was among three people who died in a fiery two-vehicle head-on crash in Calhoun County.

Robert M. Downing, 68, of Donalsonville was identified by the Florida Highway Patrol as one of three victims of the crash that occurred Sunday at the intersection of State Road 71 and SE Coley O'Bryan Road. He was the driver of one vehicle.

Troopers identified the other victims as Kawana Fisher, 26, of Port St. Joe, the second driver, and Tamara Fenn, 24, of Panama City, a passenger in the car driven by Fisher.

Fisher was driving southbound on State Road 71 and Downing was going northbound on the road, troopers said. Fisher's car began to pass several vehicles while traveling south and collied with the ront of Downing's vehicle.

Both vehicles caught fire and came to rest on the east shoulder of State Road 73.
