LOWNDES COUNTY, GA (WTXL) - Deputies said they arrested an 18-year-old and 15-year-old for their involvement in two neighboring burglaries.
Around 9 p.m., an alarm called Lowndes County Sheriff's Office deputies to a home on Honeysuckle Drive. When they arrived, they saw that the home had been broken into. They said they began to search the area with a K-9.
While searching, deputies saw Shabazz Woodson and a 15-year-old walking around the neighborhood. Once the spoke with them, deputies determined they were connected to the burglaries.
They also found that a home nearby had also been broken into. During the investigation, they recovered all of the stolen items and collected evidence.
Woodson was taken to the Lowndes County Jail where he and the minor were charged with burglary. No bond has been set yet.
