LEON COUNTY, FL (WTXL) - Leon County and the City of Tallahassee have announced that crews will begin helping households and businesses clear out the debris left over from Hurricane Hermine.
The county and city said that starting Friday, crews will remove the debris for all citizens of Leon County and the City of Tallahassee. They said citizens within the city limit and in unincorporated areas will be serviced within two weeks.
Officials are asking that debris be placed on the curbside between the sidewalk or property line and the curb. Debris should be separated into the following categories: vegetative, construction and demolition, appliances and white goods, electronics, and household hazardous waste.
