TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - A court date for a former FSU player accused of hitting a woman has been moved.
De'Andre Johnson was originally scheduled to be in a Leon County court today, but now will not appear until August.
Johnson is facing charges stemming from a battery incident in June.
Police say he was at Yianni's on June 24, when he got into a scuffle with a woman at the bar. A surveillance video shows Johnson hitting a fellow bar-goer in the face. He has been charged with battery and was subsequently dismissed from the football team.
