(WTXL) - In light of the recent passing of legendary singer Aretha Franklin, Bounce will have a full day of programming honoring her life and legacy on Friday.
The coverage will begin at 9 a.m. EDT with a special titled "Celebrating the Queen of Soul," hosted by our Detroit affiliate, WXYZ. This segment will contain commercial breaks.
The special presentation will be followed at 10 a.m. by live and uninterrupted coverage (no commercial breaks) of the full star-studded homegoing celebration for Aretha Franklin.
The confirmed line-up of performers includes Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia, Faith Hill, Shirley Caesar and many more.
