(RNN) - A Texas cat had a don’t mess with me attitude when it faced off with a giant rattlesnake.
The moment of feline courage was highlighted by the Laguna Vista Police Department in a recent Facebook post. The post was a friendly reminder to residents to use caution when outside as the weather warms.

The Department said the dangerous rattlers emerge in March or April when average temperatures in the day reach 60 or higher. The creatures are moving the most when the thermometer hits 80 to 90 degrees, the Department added.
“Please be careful!” the police department urged. The huge snake was later captured, and seen on the department's Facebook page.
