TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Monday night the Florida Capitol building was lit up orange in honor of the victims killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High school almost one year ago.
Each night the Florida Historic Capitol Museum will light up orange to honor the 17 victims and their families.
The motion to have the lighting was proposed by Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried and was passed unanimously by the cabinet in January.
