TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) - Beginning Monday, there will be a new traffic pattern on Capital Circle NW near the intersection of W. Tennessee Street.
According to Blueprint 2000, Southbound traffic on Capital Circle NW will be reduced from three lanes to two lanes just north of the intersection at W. Tennessee Street. The two-lane pattern will continue for 0.3 miles, where the two lanes will be reduced to one lane.
This new pattern will be clearly marked and access to area businesses will be maintained at all times. There will be no change to the northbound lanes on Capital Circle NW.
This traffic shift will allow the contractor to safely construct new travel lanes in the area. Officials are asking motorists to use caution when traveling through the construction zone.
All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather.
