CANCELLED: Silver alert issued for Michigan man who may be in Florida

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has cancelled the Silver Alert for Bruce Beekman. 

FDLE reports that Beekman has been found safe. 


The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is asking the public to share and be on the alert for a missing 69-year-old man.

FDLE issued a statewide silver alert for Bruce Beekman, 69, who hails from Allegan County, Mich. 

He has been missing since Monday. 

They say that Beekman was last seen at the Florida State Line. He was last seen wearing a red shirt and black jeans and may be traveling in a 2015 maroon Honda Pilot with a Michigan tag number of DRX3463.

FDLE says he may be traveling southbound on I-75.
