CAMILLA, GA (WALB) - At least three people were injured, and two of those severely, as a house on Harney Street in Camilla exploded Tuesday morning, between 10 and 11 a.m.
Firefighters from the Camilla Fire Department were headed to the location to extinguish a fire when it happened.
Fire Chief Jamie Sullivan said that two people are being transported to Shands Hospital in Florida for treatment.
One home healthcare nurse from Archbold and two residents are among those injured.
Investigators from the state Fire and Insurance Commissioner's Office are also en route.
