LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol reports on a crash between an occupied school bus and another car on Louvinia Dr. at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Monday, August 14.
Troopers say Tonia Reddick, the driver of the school bus, was coming to a stop when a GMC Sirerra driven by David Cox, 59, of Tallahassee attempted to pass the bus by crossing double solid lines.
Officials say the GMC collided with the left rear of the bus and both vehicles came to rest facing northerly.
Cox was arrested at the scene for a DUI.
The bus was occupied by four children at the time of the crash. None of the occupants were injured.
The Florida Highway Patrol was assisted by Leon County Sheriff's Office, Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Services.
