GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A boil water notice has been issued for an area southwest of Quincy.
Talquin Electric Cooperative issued the boil water notice just southeast of Greensboro Tuesday afternoon. According to them, just over 100 water services are affected.
The notice has been issued for the following areas: 2244-3535 Providence Rd, Dean Rd, Buck Blount Rd 3876-5144 Juniper Creek Rd, Pine Cone St, Carolina Rd, Ridgewood Rd, Blount Rd, Penn Rd, Liberty, Lucille Berry, Cypress, Mabry Lane.

Residents are warned NOT to drink their water without boiling it first.
They are reminding you to bring all water to a rolling boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using it for drinking or cooking.
In addition, Talquin warns the system may experience discolored tap water due to shifting sediments in the water main and say washing clothes with discolored water may tint or stain garments.
Before operating appliances, run water from an outside spigot or bath tub faucet to assure that water was been flushed. If sediment is present in the water, let it settle before drinking.
