Black Lives Matter coming to Thomasville about fatal shooting

THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - The Atlanta chapter of Black Lives Matter announced they're coming to Thomasville on Monday.

The group plans to meet with city officials and hold a press conference to express their concerns about the shooting of Herbert Gilbert.

The 37-year-old black man was killed by Thomasville County Deputy Josh Smith during a search last Monday.
