BRISTOL, Fla. (WTXL)--A Bristol man is hurt after a truck hits his bicycle.
The Florida Highway Patrol says a Chevy S-10 truck was headed south on NW Pea Ridge Road.
James Revell, 43, was riding his bike in the southbound lane.
Troopers say the bicycle was not equipped with lights or reflectors that are required. They say the driver, 17-year-old William Hosford, tried to swerve away when he saw the bicycle but the right front hit the the bike. It happened near the NW Summer Road.
The bicyclist was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. No charges were filed.
