BERRIEN COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) - A free class about Church Security and Preparedness Plan is being offered by the Berrien County Sheriff's Office and the Bridge church.

It will be hosted by the Bridge church, 727 South Davis St, in Nashville on March 10 at 10 a.m.

The class is offered to all churches in Berrien County.

"... We encourage that at least a few members of each church in our area attend and hopefully are able to take something back to your church that could potentially help create a plan that will essentially make our churches safer," the sheriff said in a Facebook post.

People planning to attend the class are asked to RSVP by calling John Dixon at (229) 686 - 0747 or Sheriff Ray Paulk at (229) 686 - 7071.
