Armed robber holds up two FSU students

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Two Florida State University students were robbed early Tuesday morning by a man who approached them from behind as they were walking, showed them a firearm and demanded their personal belongings.

An FSU Alert said the robbery occurred about 12:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of W. College Avenue.

After the students handed over their belongings, the suspect fled the area by entering the passenger side of a car described in an FSU Alert as of unknown made and model.

The victims said the suspect was a black male wearing a dark hat, a dark zip-up hoodie jacket, dark glasses, baggy and dark-colored pants, and a red key chain around his neck.

FSUPD is investigating seeking the robber and the driver and asks that anyone having information concerning the incident to call the FSU Police at 850-644-1234.
