SUWANNEE COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL)--A suspected armed robber strikes again in Suwannee County but this time he's captured.
On Monday, deputies say 27-year-old Jason Bise, Jr. held a knife to a victim's back, forcing him to go inside the B&B store in Wellborn to withdraw $100 from the ATM.
After a search of the area, Suwannee County deputies found Bise. who was hiding the cash inside his right boot. He was then taken into custody. Deputies say 35-year-old Amanda Leigh Gans helped Bise leave the scene of the crime. She's charged with armed robbery and obstruction.
Deputies say Bise also admitted going to the Stop and Go store on U.S. 90 East and holding up the clerk with a knife on January 17.
He's accused of stealing cigarettes, and then leaving the scene in his vehicle that was parked on Railroad Street. He's charged with two counts of armed robbery, and wearing a mask while committing the offense of armed robbery.
