TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Students are busy this summer participating in the Marching 100 Summer Band Camp, that's in its 25th year.

Thursday, the band is held it's annual band camp parade.

Interim university president Larry Robinson lead the parade which kicked off at 2 p.m. on Wahnish Way, continued down Gamble Street, and ended at Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in front of the FAMU Student Union.

The camp hosts nearly 300 high school band students to participate in the week-long experience.

Students learn camp drills, selections and dance routines from pieces by artists like Beyoncé, Drake, Ed Sheeran, New Edition, and Bruno Mars.
