TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (WTXL) - A restaurant some would call a staple here in Tallahassee could be closing its doors. Calico Jacks or known as CJ's has been open for 25 years.
The owner, Tony Reese Belcher, passed away Monday at his home. According to his obituary, he owned Calico Jack's oyster bar and seafood restaurant on northeast Capital Circle, since 1989. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and golfer and graduated from the university of florida. His sons held a memorial for him today, for patrons and friends to share their fondest memories of belcher.
