LAKE PARK, GA (WTXL) - Deputies were called to Teresa Drive after a man was found unresponsive in the lake around 7:00 am, Monday.
Emergency crews pulled the man to shore where they tried to revive him, but were unsuccessful said the Lowndes County Sheriffs Office.
The cause of death has not been determined says the sheriff’s office although they believe alcohol may be a factor.
Sheriff Chris Prine said “We are continuing with this investigation and the autopsy will shed some light on the exact cause of death. If anyone has information about this incident I would encourage them to contact our detective office.”
The identity of the man has not yet been released.
