TWA Welcomes Guest Speaker Julie Strauss Bettinger

Tallahassee, Fla. (WTXL)--A very special guest is speaking at the Tallahasse Writer's Association meeting this week alongside TWA President, Peggy Kasees.

Julie Strauss Bettinger will be this week's speaker. Bettinger will discuss How To Tell Someone Else's Story as a first person story.

Julie Strauss Bettinger’s writing career spans more than 25 years, mostly involving publications in the American southeast.

She wrote a weekly business column for the Tallahassee Democrat and was the editor of Tallahassee and Emerald Coast magazines. And for nearly two decades she was the editor for two law-enforcement journals.

Her next book, Encounters with Rikki: From Hurricane Katrina Rescue to Exceptional Therapy Dog, publishes in January 2016. She blogs at:
