TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) -- It's seems like a miracle straight from the bible, a man completely paralyzed from the waist down has been given the ability to walk again. Scientists at the University of California designed a cap with electrodes to detect brain signals. These signals are then decoded by a computer which stimulates certain nerves in the man's legs, causing the muscles to move.
Remember the iPhone 6-plus fiasco? People would keep their phones which would bend and then break the screens. Now, some people on YouTube put the new iPhone 6-s to the test. It bends elastically and can handle more weight while still retaining its shape so there's a lesser chance of it breaking. In fact, under the same 100 pounds of pressure, it bent 25 percent less than the older generation phone. However, it's still not recommended to sit on your device.
And finally, this isn’t your grandpa's cement. A new type of concrete can absorb 800 gallons of water in just minutes! It is called "top mix permeable." By absorbing water, it helps prevent flooding which makes it safer for cars and people. After it sinks through the concrete, the runoff connects to the groundwater drainage system. However this would not work in a cold environment because freezing water could damage the concrete.
