TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Tallahassee Hispanic Theater has a lot in store this summer with some new productions.
The group's president, Alejandra Gutierrez, and the director, Kevin Carr, joined WTXL ABC Sunrise Anchor Malcolm Hornsby on Thursday to talk about their productions.
The group will present four short plays that will be performed in the same space: the Carriage House at Goodwood Museum, 1600 Miccosukee Road.
Besides the plays, the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy Hispanic food and drinks (available for purchase), and live music, interpreted by Charles Santiago and Jesse García.
The event is titled the First Annual Micro Theater Festival. It will be July 20-21 at 8 p.m.
The cost is $5 for students, $8 for seniors and Goodwood members, and $10 for general admission.
