TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The MLK Committee of Chattahoochee is helping parents get their children "fresh" for school with free haircuts and hair braiding.
Joining WTXL ABC Sunrise Anchor Christine Souders on Second Cup Tuesday morning to talk about the program are Johnnie Mae McWhite and Rosetta Hylton-Anderson.
The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Committee of Chattahoochee, Florida, is hosting the event on August 6 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chattahoochee Recreation Center, 131 Oak Street.
The group is also giving away school supplies.
