MIDWAY, FL -- (WTXL) Sunrise reporter Christine Sounders sat down with Elizabeth Ekk of 'Ekk & Hamilton Realty' to discuss the impact that flood zones have when buying a home.
According to Ekk there are three different flood zone types; an "A" which is a 500 year, an "E" which is 100 years, and "S" which has none.
With the recent weather taking place in the Big Bend Ekk stressed the importance of keeping your home insured and safe for potential home owners.
