MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) - Our political experts provided us insight into our local Primary races Tuesday night.

We talked about how the recent political atmosphere has affected midterm voting, the role early voting played in the election and how the increase in young voters has contributed to this election's dynamics.

Our first expert is Dr. Richard Murgo. He's been a professor of Political Science at Tallahassee Community College since 1994.

He holds Masters Degrees in Political Science from Florida State University and in Applied Economics from the University of Central Florida. He received his Ph.D from FSU.

Our second political expert is Dr. Ed Moore.

Dr. Moore has been the president of the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida since 2003. Prior to that, he held several positions within state government. He has a Ph.D in public administration and policy.
